The Journey Home

Welcome!  Glad you stopped by!  Whether by choice or by accident, I’m glad to have you.  If this were a meeting in person, I’d have you up for a snack and a drink.  All the same, here’s to you fellow travelers and casual travel readers.

It’s been some time coming, but it’s time to start keeping this blog for real.  I’ll be posting a number of different types of media here from articles to musings to photos on trips big and small.

Below is a short description of the different categories of posts.

THE – Travel Happens Everywhere

Just because we don’t go hundreds of miles away or spend thousands of dollars doesn’t mean we didn’t travel!  Some of the most exciting trips are ones of daily routine.  Even commuting is travel and something magical can always happen.

We all have them.  Some of them do better staying in private, a lesson I seem to learn the hard way.  But these thoughts are simple, edit-free sentences (usually pertaining to a traveling life) that pop up and land here on the blog.

Going Nomad

These are my thoughts and ideas, as well as the actions I’m taking or should have taken, about preparing for and living a life of constant movement.  I’ll post what I think and what I read of others as well as chronicle my journey from a (semi) regular life into one of pure nomadic adventure – my dreams realized at last.
